What is glutinous rice glue multifunctional plywood?
It uses glutinous rice glue to replace the traditional urea-formaldehyde resin glue, and cold press molding replaces hot press molding, slow drying in a drying kiln, to finally produce the multi-layer plywood. It has many advantages properties than traditional plywood, so we call it multi-functional plywood.
What’s the main material for glutinous rice glue multi-functional plywood?
It’s made from glutinous rice starch, magnesium chloride, magnesium oxide, and water. Glutinous rice starch has strong viscosity after gelatinization, magnesium chloride is an excellent coagulant, and magnesium oxide is a strong flame retardant. These 3 main raw materials will not release harmful substances, so it makes glutinous rice glue plywood more eco-friendly.
How does the glutinous rice glue plywood product?
Glue coating and board arrangement→cold press molding→hot press shaping→patching/sanding/veneering/edging/packing and so on (glue board and dry board crosswise arrangement)
What is the function of glutionus rice glue multi-functional plywood?
1) More eco-friendly: The glutinous rice glue has formaldehyde content similar to the natural air formaldehyde content, no harmful substances are released, and the glutinous rice glue plywood has formaldehyde emission less than 0.020mg/m³(HENF grade)
2)Anti-deformation: after glue curing, it will be similar to ceramic, which forms a three-dimensional face to make plywood more resistant to deformation.
3) Waterproof and fireproof: around 60h drying process can keep the pywood moisture rate under 8%, and magnesium oxide is a strong flame retardant.
4) Insects and termites prevention: The moisture content control under 8% can prevent insects from surviving. Experiments have shown that the glutinous rice glue multifunctional board has 9-level insect resistance.
